What's the difference between an organization and a company?
In a nutshell, an organization is a broad term that encompasses any entity comprised of people working together towards a common goal. This can include non-profit entities, governmental bodies, and clubs. A company, however, is a specific type of organization, typically a commercial one, designed to generate profit by providing goods or services. So, while all companies are organizations, not all organizations are companies.
